The corpus reproduces selected articles of Lei n.º 58/2019 in the consolidated text of the PGDL database.

Portuguese copyright law gives no protection to the texts of laws gathered in compilations. The code has no separate article that names statutes as such; artigo 8.º is the provision that excludes their texts.

The corpus takes the text from the consolidated database of the Procuradoria-Geral Regional de Lisboa (pgdlisboa.pt), a public prosecution office. Its pages (pgdlisboa.pt, read 2026-10-01) carry the site-wide footer "© Copyright 2026. Todos os direitos reservados" and no terms of use; the consolidation contains only the legislator's words with the amendments applied, which is what artigo 8.º, n.º 1, excludes. The footer is therefore read as covering the website, not the legislation.

Conditions: none attach to the statute text, because no copyright subsists in it. The corpus still identifies its source: each fact document names its source in its opening citation line and in its Meta section, and Sources here links the official text (the PGDL database). The changes (the selection of provisions, the Markdown layout and the added anchors) are described in Meta. The corpus does not claim that the publisher endorses it, and only the officially promulgated text is authentic.
