Applicability to EdTech
- Školní matrika is the statutory pupil-data catalogue: § 28 enumerates the documentation schools keep and exactly which data the school register holds about each child, pupil or student — identity (including rodné číslo), prior education, health conditions relevant to schooling, course and assessment data (§ 28 odst. 2) — the data model any Czech school-facing system inherits.
- Distance learning is a duty in defined crises: when crisis/quarantine measures bar most of a class from attending, the school must provide "vzdělávání distančním způsobem" and pupils are obliged to participate (§ 184a odst. 1, odst. 3), delivered per the framework curricula in the measure circumstances allow (odst. 2). Unlike Poland's art. 125a, the trigger is narrower (crisis-law measures), and the statute does not prescribe the tooling — that choice sits with the school.
