Texas student data privacy (Tex. Educ. Code §32.151 et seq.)

Texas's student data privacy provisions (Education Code, Chapter 32, added by HB 2087, 85th Legislature, 2017 — a SOPIPA-style regime), binding operators of online services used for school purposes: restrictions on covered information, prohibitions on targeted advertising, profiling and sale of student data, security and deletion duties.
